1. What did the author Luke write about in his first book (Luke's Gospel) ? (1,2)

2. What did the Risen Jesus do during the forty days between his resurrection and his ascension? Why did he want to prove to the apostles that he was alive?

3. What did he speak about? (3) What do you think this means? Why was it important?

4. What was the gift the Father promised, and what command did Jesus give to his disciples concerning it? (4,5)

5. How did the disciples respond to his teaching about the kingdom of God and the Father's gift? What did they want Jesus to do for them?

6. What did Jesus teach them about God's plans? What did he want them to do? (8) What can we learn here about the faith of the Risen Jesus? About his concern for all the people of the world?

7. What does it mean to be a witness? What was involved in being a witness in Jerusalem? In Judea and Samaria To the ends of the earth? How can we be Jesus' witnesses?
