* PETER HEALS THE CRIPPLED MAN (3 :1-11)

1. Where were Peter and John, and what were they doing? What does this tell us about them?

2. Describe the situation of the crippled man. What was his job? What was on his mind? What did he want of Peter and John? How did Peter help him? What can we learn from Peter?

* PETER WITNESSES TO THE NAME OF JESUS (3:12-26)

3. How was this man's life changed? How does his changed life resemble the change in Peter's own life? In other lives? In your life?

4. How did the crowd respond? (10,11) What temptation might this sudden popularity bring to Peter? How did Peter explain? ( 12, 13 a, 16) Whatelse did he say about Jesus? What is the importance of faith in his name?

5. What was their part in Jesus' death? (13-23) What was God's purpose? What did God do? What must those who hear the resurrection message do? (18-23) What is God's promise to those who repent? Why did God choose his people? (24-26)

6. Why were the authorities disturbed by the apostles' teaching? What did they do? What was the result of the apostles' preaching? (1-4)

7. When they were interrogated, how did the apostles testify about Jesus? What did Peter mean by his Scripture quotation in verse 11? what should we learn from verse 12?

8. Why were the rulers astonished at Peter and John? What was the source of their wisdom and courage? Why could the rulers say no more to the apostles? (14) What was their dilemma? (15-17)
