“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

 

 

 

  1. How did God speak in the past to reveal himself to men? (1) How did God speak in these last days? (2)  What difference does it make that God “has spoken to us by his Son”? (2, Cf. John 1:18, Ps 2:8)

 

 

  1. Who is Jesus? (3, John 1:14) Where is he? What did he do for us? What does he do now?

 

 

  1. How do the Scriptures of the Old Testament testify to Jesus’ superiority over angels? (Ps 2:7, 2 Sam 7:14, Deut 32:43, Ps 104:4, Ps 45:6-7, Ps 102:25-27, 110:1)  In what respects is Jesus superior to angels? (14)

  1. Why must we pay careful attention to what God has spoken to us? (2:1, 2) What does it mean “pay more careful attention” and “do not drift away”?

 

 

 

  1. What was the great salvation announced, confirmed and testified? Why can we not ignore such a great salvation?
