1. Read verse 1. Why were Jesus’ disciples troubled? (13:33) What did Jesus see their problem was? What was its solution?

2. Read verses 2-4. Where was Jesus going? (2) What promise did he give his disciples? (2,3) What does he mean by “the Father’s house”? (Mk 1:15)

3. Think about the hope of Abraham (Heb 11:10), Paul (2Co 5:1), and Peter (1Pe 1:3,4) Why is it important to have hope in the kingdom of God in our hearts? (Lk 11:2)
