- Read vs. 1-3. After sending the letters to the churches,
where does the Lord invite John in? (1) Why? Who is sitting on the throne
in heaven? (3) What do the appearances of “jasper,” “carnelian,”
“emerald,” and “rainbow” reveal God’s characters? (3)
- Read vs. 4. Surrounding the throne are the twenty-four
other thrones. Who are sitting on them? (4) What does it signify that
they are dressed in white and have crowns of gold on their heads?

5. Read vs. 9-11. When the four living creatures give glory
to God, what do the twenty-four elders do? (10) Why is God alone worthy
to receive glory and honor and power? (11) How do you feel when you
picture the throne room atmosphere in heaven?
