Psalm 100:1-5
KV Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

1. Read verses 1-2. What does the author call for? How should we come before the Lord? Why joy (1 Thess 5:16; Ps 16:11; Luke 1:47; Hab 3:17-18)?

2. Read verse 3. Who is God? What is the relationship between God and man? What does it mean that we are his people (Gen 17:7; Ex 6:7; Jer 31:33)? The sheep of his pasture? As God’s people how should we live?

3. Read verse 4-5. What does it mean to enter his gates? How should we enter? Why should we give thanks to the Lord?

4. How is God’s goodness displayed in the Bible (Gen 1:31; Ps 86:5; Mk 10:18)? What does it mean that God’s love endures forever (Ps 103:17)? How does his faithfulness continue through all generations (Dt 7:9; Heb 10:23)?
