Before KOIN, there was a group called Young Disciples of Jesus—a space for young adults to pursue God’s heart and build Christ-centered friendships. As time went on, the group became mostly post-grads, and younger students started to feel a bit out of place. With prayer and guidance from peers and elders at Washington UBF, KOIN was created as a student-centered ministry where college students can grow in faith, build lasting connections, and walk with God together.
