Frequently Asked Questions

REGISTRATION

Registration closes on Sunday, July 7th.

If you miss the deadline, contact washingtonubf12@gmail.com. Registration may still be available with a late fee.

PRICING

Please contact washingtonubf12@gmail.com if any changes need to be made.

The prices below show the cost for attending all 4 days of the conference. On the registration form, you will be able to select your lodging and meal preference.

  • If you plan to find your own lodging, a $50 facility fee will be charged per person, plus a meal plan of your choice. CBF kids are not required to pay the facility fees.

  • A discount has been applied for JBF/HBF, Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students (not working full-time), and First-Time Attendees. 

  • Children ages 2 and under incur no cost for room and board. However, they must still be registered using the family registration form.

Full-time attendees will be offered two meal plans:

  1. All Meals - Meals will be provided at the conference site (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners)

  2. No Meals - You will not receive any meals from the conference site

Part-time attendees will be offered the same meal plans - All Meals or No Meals. However, please note that the first meal for part-time attendees who select the "All Meals" plan will be dinner of the first day you attend.

  • For example, if you plan to attend on Saturday and Sunday and you choose "Part-Time (1 night), All meals",  you will receive the following meals: Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday lunch.


* If you have any severe food allergies or special dietary needs, please indicate so in the registration form.

There are facility, conference, and miscellaneous fees apart from room and board costs which add up to $50 per person (Ages 13+). If you want more detailed information about room/board or additional costs, reach out to washingtonubf12@gmail.com.

PAYMENT

Lodging

Please pay in advance if possible. If that is not possible, please make your payment upon arrival at the registration booth at the conference site.

You may pay with the following options:

  1. (Recommended) Personal check made payable to University Bible Fellowship
    There is no additional processing fee.

    • For Washington chapter members, you may place the check in the offering box. In addition, there will be a collection table set up on Sunday 7/14.

    • For other chapter members, you may mail the check to the Washington UBF Church at 3604 Metzerott Rd., College Park, MD 20740 or give your check to your chapter leader

  2. Paypal
    However, you must select the option to cover the mandatory transaction fee ($0.30 + 2.9% for all funds received).
    Please specify who the payment is for in the notes.

You can find the West Chester dormitory floor plans here.

You may choose to room with your spouse since each room has access to a private bathroom. We will try our best to assign you with the person you listed as your preferred roommate on the registration form.

Linens can be rented for an additional fee of $20.

 

If you choose to rent linens, you will be provided a pillow, flat sheet, fitted sheet, blanket, 1 bath towel, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths. If you do not choose to rent linens, you will be responsible for bringing all the listed items from home. 

 

Please note that West Chester University sources the linens from an external company and the quality cannot be ensured.

A laundry room is located on each floor. There is no additional cost for laundry use.  Liquid, powder and pod-style detergent can be used.

The rooms will not have refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, etc. However, there will be a kitchen located in the dormitory for anyone to use. Pots and pans may be borrowed from the front desk during check-in.

A simple fitness center is located on the fourth floor of Brandywine Hall, where conference attendees will stay. It features treadmills and stationary bikes. On Friday, a paid option is available at the Student Recreation Center for those seeking a more comprehensive fitness facility.

CHILDCARE

Yes.


Young children must register using the family registration form to share lodging with parents. Families will be assigned to a family suite if they have at least ONE (1) young child under 12 years.

Youth Group members (grades 7-12) must register as individuals, not under family registration.

Childcare (Ages 5-12)

Yes, the CBF program for children ages 5-12 (including Bible study, messages, and activities) will take place on Thursday evening, Friday morning, and Saturday morning. There will also be a CBF service on Sunday morning before the main Sunday worship service.

Parents who drop off for the organized CBF program will be asked to serve a childcare rotation to supervise CBF during free play on Friday evening, Saturday evening and during the Sunday worship service (after the CBF service).

 

There is no CBF childcare/program in the afternoons. Parents should expect to supervise their own children during these times.

Childcare (Ages 0-5)

There is no specific program for children under the age of 5. However, we will prepare some activities for them on Friday morning during the Bible study and Sunday morning during testimony sharing.

No childcare will be provided during the conference, but parents may choose to arrange rotations among themselves. Parents will also need to bring their own diapers, wipe, and snacks as needed for their children. We will bring some toys and mats from the Washington UBF church nursery. Parents may bring their own toys if they wish. 

CBF childcare program (ages 5-12) will be held in the large 1st floor lounge of Commonwealth Hall.

There is no CBF childcare program (ages 0-5). However, parents may choose to care for their children (ages 0-5) at a designated lounge in the dormitory.

MISCELLANEOUS

No, there is no age restriction regarding who is allowed to enter, but please make sure to register ll children who are attending the conference. Children ages 0-2 incur no cost for rooming and meal.

There will be no special offering. For regular tithes and offering, please give as you usually do to your home chapter.

We will provide a Zoom link only for the Sunday Worship Service. 

 

Parents who join the conference on site but help CBF program or childcare will get Zoom links for the all the programs except the symposium.
